There have been a lot of changes in my family in the last little while. We have a new baby who is only one month old. His name is Calem and he is absolutely adorable. Here are some pictures of his cute little face.

My wife is taking a year off work so that she can be home with him while he is little. In our family, my wife makes most of the income and so this means a bit of a shift for us. While we have fairly decent maternity leave in Canada, it only provides a portion of her normal salary.
I don’t usually like to ask our community for financial support, I prefer to keep money out of spiritual things. I try to give my writing to the world as a gift without expecting anything in return. It is a spiritual practice for me to never turn anyone away because of money, and that won’t change. Everything we do at New Eden Ministry and The Virtual Chapel will remain free of charge and open to everyone.
If you feel called to help support this community, then I would welcome any contributions you may have to offer. You can sign up for regular monthly donations on Patreon by clicking HERE or you can make a one time donation through PayPal by clicking HERE.
I can’t tell you how much it means to me that all of you have made it possible for me to have my ministry be my job. I feel so blessed to be able to focus on writing, spiritual direction, and community building. These are the things that God calls me to and my efforts are so much more fruitful when I don’t have to struggle to balance them with working in the call center or in a kitchen.
So thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making this possible. Thank you for creating this sacred space with me, where people around the world can come together in love to seek the depths of the contemplative life. I believe it is exactly what is needed in our times.
Yours in Christ,
Justin
